About Me
Since a very young age, I watched my mother take cloth and thread to create beautiful garments, draperies, pillows, etc. As I grew into adulthood, I began to truly appreciate her creativity and talent to make something beautiful from cloth and thread; and it is was during those early adult years that my passion for quilting began. I recall that the first quilt I made was a Grandmother's Flower Garden quilt, which was a wedding gift for my sister. It was a queen-size quilt, and looking back a rather big undertaking considering I had no real knowledge of how to make a quilt. I did, however, have all those years of learning from my mother of how to create something from cloth and thread.

Since that first quilt, I knew that the art of quilting was something I truly enjoyed and that I wanted to become a skilled quilter. That was more than 30 years ago, and my knowledge, experience and passion for designing beautiful, treasured quilts has continued to grow. It is with that same passion that that I founded Stitch My Quilt with one goal in mind--helping customers craft one-of-a-kind creations by providing quilting services to transform home quilters' unfinished quilt tops into timeless treasures.
As a quilter myself, I understand the time, effort, and love that goes into designing and making quilts. I handle every quilt as though it is my own and understand that your quilt could stay in your family for many years and are works of love.
